How to Break Work Schedule in Mid Month

How can we change work shedule in mid month and assign new work schedule for employee, Is it Possible because work schedule is changed at the end of month.

You may want to start with a test in your DEVelopment or Quality And Testing environment, but you should be able to change the Work Schedule of an employee mid period.  Do it for one employee, then execute Time Evaluation in Test mode, with the "Display Log" box checked so that you could check the results.  Then do the Time Evaluation "LIVE", and repeat the process with Payroll Calculation.

I would recommend that your do the change through an Action, as the work schedule change may imply other changes to the employee's WPBP (Work Place Basic Pay), specially IT0001 and IT0008.  HR may also want the Action to be able to report on the change.

I totally agree with Remi. Sometimes when you make the changes to work schedule his othe areas will be impacted.

eg: employee changes from one position to another position, his work schedule changes.

So, run a personnel action and instert a infogroup with IT0007) and trigger them dynamically as per your requirement and save the action.

Hi Shilpi,

I'm not clear about your question. If you have already created the work schedule then you can create new work schedule rule for the employees in infotype 0007 with the start date.

If this is not your requirement. Pls explain bit more what your expecting.

Hi I am talking about 07, suppose we assign a wsr acb to some one and in mid month he comes and say now my shift schedul is cba , than how can we change it in 07.

Yes, you can change it at any time of month.

It will not create any issue for payroll

Dear Yug,

Just change it by Edit or if it's a new from a specific date, make a copy of last one and apply your changes from requested date.

Hi,

yes, go to PA30 and give the infotype 0007 and click on "create" button and give the start date (from when you want to chnage the shift) and select the workschdule rule "cba" and save it.
