Cell Background Color Formatting in EvDRE

Hi Experts,

I'm trying to apply a background color in the row Keys of my EvDRE, but I'm not able to do it.It only Works when ALL is in USE column, but since users will fill the rows manually, I cannot use ALL because rows won't be locked. Follow below the format command I'm using, but it's not working (background became blue, don't know why):

ROW

CRITERIA	EVALUATE IN	FORMAT	USE	APPLY TO
DEFAULT	(GREEN BACKGROUND,GREEN PATTERN)	PATTERN	KEY

Does anyone have an idea on how could I achieve it?

Hi Andre,

I see there is some issue with the structure of your format range.

Following is a listing of the six columns and their meaning:

CRITERIA           What triggers the specified format

EVALUATE IN    The range in which the criteria must be evaluated

FORMAT            The desired format of the cells

USE                    The portions of the format that should be applied

PARAMETERS   Some textual definition of the format to apply

APPLY TO          The portions of the report to which the format should be applied

So, you format range should have an entry like this

CRITERIA   EVALUATED IN  FORMAT                  USE                      PARAMETERS  APPLY TO

DEFAULT   ROW                    Format color *          PATTERN, FONT                           HEADINGS

*Format Color  please format this cell the way you want the heading to appear.

Thanks for your response. Actually, my table was wrong, and the one I had in my EvDRE is similar to yours.

I've checked my formatting options and realized that my criteria was overlapped by another one - the reason was not working. Now it's working properly.
