J2EE or Web Dynpro not available for new Project

I installed the NetWeaver Development kit Lite version. The installation went on OK. But when I tried to create my "first" J2EE or Web Dynpro , they were not available in the list for in the New-Project options from the Developer Studio. Am I missing something here?

I appreciate any help.

Why don't you install NWDS version 12.0 or higher, also see that required JDK version is installed.

you can download NWDS from (credentials required).

i hope fresh installation should solve your problem

      Hi Venkat:

      thanks for your reply.

I got an error when I tried to set up the local SAP J2EE engine as below:

Apparantly it was not installed. I downloaded the files SAPINST13_0-20000118.SAR and the one for EP6 and tried to install from SAPINST and I got errors while doing so. One of the errors was about control.xml and the other one was about JDK. I have J2SDK installed. But I could not install either EP or SAP J2EE.

WHat is the right way to go about this? My DEv Studio is SP13.

      Thanking you in advance.
