Not getting warning message of material marked for deletion

Hi Friends,

In fast order entry screen if material is marked for deletion in material master then we are not getting any warning message informing that this material is marked for deletion.

If I try to create sales order on main screen while saving sales order I do get warning message.

How do I get warning message when I create sales order through fast order entry screen.

Dear Anjali,

    In MM06 you might have not set Deletion flat to Sales org and dist channel, mark deletion at this level also then system will throw you an error msg as soon as you will enter the material.

Please find below screen shot for your reference.

User has set the deletion flag for only plant 5015, if set for sales org, it will not allow for any other plant in same sales organisation.

Hi

Pleae check and confirm that delivering plant in sale order and in material master are same or not. Delivering plant should be in which you have put mark for deletion.

Secondly for my understanding I am asking what do you mean by sale order fast entry screen?

Hi,

Sales order entry screen means when we create sale sorder put only customer no. & req delivery date the press CTRL+F9, there you can add material & quantity.

I am facing problem in fast entry screen.

Well, In my case when I press Ctrl+F9 after entering customer and required delivery date system is giving me message that No Items Exist. After entering material if we press Cntrl+F9 then system gives message "Evalution of validity type is not allowed for this item". I don't know what is fast entry screen in creating sale order. Are you in ECC6 or IS Retail or CRM?

In that case, if you want to block for sales only a specific material or materials from a particular Plant within a Sales Organization, you may not have any standard options available. However, you may want to work with your ABAP colleagues on an userexit to achieve your objective during your sales order processing.

Dear Anjali,

The following userexit may be useful for your purpose to define your rules for sales by Plant for specific materials within a sales Organization

User-Exit in program MV45AFZB -

USEREXIT_SOURCE_DETERMINATION

You can use this user exit to determine which plant will be used for the delivery. In the standard system, the delivering plant is copied from the customer master or the customer-material info record. If you want to use a different rule, then you must enter it in this user exit.

As per another update here in your forum, if you plan to stop sales completely from a particular Plant for ALL materials in a Sales Og, then you may want to de-link the Plant assignment to the Sales Org, if possible.

Have you checked fields in material master Sales 1 view with the name

Cross-distribution-chain material status

and

Distribution-chain-specific material status

Please check these two fields and also in material master basic data 1 the field with the name

Cross-Plant Material Status

These are fields used to block materials. When there is functionality in standard then why we go for ABAP customization?
