Dear Experts,

My SAP server hard disk crashes due to UPS failure. Unfortunately there is no backup taken of the same server.

Please suggest me what will be the possible solution now. If we retrieve hard disk data through any third party than from that is it possible to build same SAP system.

Please help me. Waiting for your reply

Thanks,

Yogesh

Hello

A system shutdown due to power failure will not lead to data loss.

Restart the system when the system is powered and start the database and application.

Hi Deepak,

Thanks for your reply.

QAS system is crashed and Actually we are using QAS an a Production system from last 7 months. And there is no backup of QAS system.

All the activities has been done only on QAS system which is crashed now.

So please provide me any solution .

Put the power back on and start the system. Power outage should not destroy the system.

In future:

- always make sure you have backups (for DEV and QAS too), and do restore testing

- do not run production on QAS, this even might be illegal
