Text field and blank row in service type document

Hi experts,

One of our customer is asking for Text field and blank row in service type documents, but adding text field and blank row is not applicable in SAP Business one. Is there any solution or workaround to solve this?

Hi,

What you mean by not applicable? Are you looking for UDF in service type documents? If yes, you can UDF under Tools- User defined Management tools.

Am not referringn about UDF, Customer is asking for Text field and blank space in content tab.

Please check the attached screen shot in Service type documents there is no option for enabling Text field.

Hi,

"Type" format is available only for item type. It is not available for service type document.

Work around:

For service type document, you can "Description" field to enter your text.

For blank field, create UDF as mentioned in my first reply.

Sorry i made a mistake its not blank field, we need blank row. Is there any way to add blank row?

Because the document wont allow to add if there is a blanks row.

Not possible to add blank row. System will not allow to add the documents.

Hi Sudhir,

Yes, you can't add with blank row of document either it is Item or Service type Document.

Nagarajan given you alternate solution to manage the UDF.

if u explain exactly what is your functionality then we can suggest you some things which can be helpful to complete your task.
