SAP HCM module training & Certification in Dallas

I am interested in SAP HCM module training & Certification. I have around 5 years of experience in HR generalist profile .My queries

  • As i have an MBA HR degree so this combination would work (SAP HCM from USA + MBA HR from India) ??

  • Secondly whether this skill set would get me a job here and visa conversion from H4 to H1 ,because this can only happen when jobs are available for this skill set  in USA ?? As my other concern is this too that only MBA HR cant get me a job in USA or i should go for PHR ??

  • Third, is there only one who has done SAP HCM /HR from dallas ???

i would be really grateful, if you people help me out .

Best Regards

Hi Shweta,

1. Having experience in HR as a generalist may help you while learning HCM but is not counted as experience in SAP HR.

2. With respect to SAP HR implementation there is a catch that it differs from company to company and in your case you are in a different country so there would be big/small differences.

3. I have heard about companies that allow you to work for free so that you can gain some real-time experience and then some companies absorb people because of their skill so you can search for such companies there.

4. What I have came to know from my interactions with SAP functional consultants that SAP HR is not easy to implement due to the difference in company policies and the big differences in the way companies operate, so it is advantageous also as you know something which is not easy but at the same time it poses some challenges about getting a break.

Keep searching the net for companies that allow to work for free to gain experience and try to make good network with people who are SAP HR consultants, you can even check in LinkedIn for professionals.

Best of Luck.
