Batch restricted use... change error to warning message?

If we set a batch to restricted use we get an error message if we try to use the batch... we want to change this into a warning message...

Found this text:

Upon a withdrawal, the system issues a
warning or an error message (depending on the configuration) if the
batch to be withdrawn is restricted (part of the restricted-use stock).

Where can I change this ?

it is actually message M7 665 Batch & has the status <restricted-use> and customizing has to be made in

IMG > MM > Inventory management > Define attributes of system messages

Thank you all for your answers... I now realise that I have to revise the question a bit...

I have now made it possible to stage material in WM (LB13) that are marked as batch restricted use (Log Gen-->Batch man-->Batch status-->activate batch status check in WM)

But.... i now want the system to issue a warning message when a material (batch) with RU is picked in LB13...

have you changed the attribute to W for message M7 665 in

IMG > MM > Inventory management > Define attributes of system messages  ?

this message is a MM message, it is not issued in WM activities.

WM is just following MM, it is configuration if picking from restricted stock is allowed or not. When it is allowed to pick restricted stock, then it is fine and you will not get any warning.

Yes... the attribute was W already... i guess the warning will appear when I make GI on this batch...?

Any idea where I in WM can set that restricted is ok to pick? Maby I can set a W there?

It is in the definition of the batch determination for WM  in transaction OMK1

here you have a box to indicate whether the movement allows restricted stock

there is no option to issue warning messages

So, in order to allocate or move restricted material without first making it unrestricted you have to allow it in OMK1? Once allowing it, there's no option to issue a warning when it's moved or allocated?

If you want to use a batch which is in ' restricted use', then change the batch from 'restricted use' to 'unrestricted use' in transaction code MSC2N. Also there is no meaning if you want to change the error message to warning message if the batch is in restricted use.

You can change message type for purchasing in view T160M tcode SM30 or using menu path MM>Purchasing>Environment Data>Define Attributes.

What is the message number you talking about?
