At the moment this is not possible, you may wish to use a workaround like:

    schedule to destination

create a program object that runs a script that opens the excel document and saves it protected

schedule the program object on events

once the script is completed run another program job on events that sends the final xls to the destination it needs

a bit complex but if you have time and skills to do this...

    cheers

    Hi Surabh,

If you are trying to protect the Excel output distributed to users with password etc then it is possible, please follow steps in the document below.

    http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/c0769119-5617-2e10-7383-94ae813466e2?QuickLink=index&overridelayout=true&50457275932016

Coming to distributing locked Excel output to users, As far as i know there is no option from within BusinessObjects tools (launchpad, webi or CMC), need to check if this is possible through SDK.

    Thanks
