Hi Sheetal,
I am also facing the same issue, even after setting the property of table cells to 'read as Image URL'.
Are you able to achieve this ?

Hi Ashton,
Thanks for you suggestion.
I tried assigning it to both 'Mobile' and 'Mobile Designed' category (I observed that assigning only to 'mobile designed' category wont make this report available for mobile view), but still the images are not visible in iPad.
Could you please tell me if there are any additional settings/configurations to be done to achieve this ?

Shantanu
HI Shantanu,
can you click a snapshot of the blank cell properties that you set while attaching image
i tried the same at my end, it is working fine for me
make sure, the image size is not too large
also, images folder is accessible ( no rights issue from the OS side )
I did not even select read content as image url, it still worked
Attach another image and check

Hi Atul,
Thanks for the reply.
Below is the screen shot of the table cell property.
I am trying to display different images for different countries as below
The images are visible on BI launch pad report correctly, but only URL "boimg://filname.png" appears when viewed on iPad.
Also the images are 10- 13 kbs in size

Shantanu
Hi Atul,
Thanks.
It will work as sugessted by you, but only one image (of which a path is given in appearance tab) will appear for all the countries.
As per the sample visualisation provided in one of the mobile BI guide, it is possible to show different images for different countries and make it visibile in iPad.This is actually what I am trying to achieve here.

Hi Atul,
Please refer page 66 of the below guide for the functionality I am was trying to achieve in iPad.

HI Shantanu,
yes, it shows the normal way of doing it, what i ssuggested earlier.
however, the one that you are trying to achive, i dont think that is possible.
cells will have images as mentioned, however you are trying to apply formula in the cell, which it wil not convert and read the image.
Can you open a ticket with SAP to check this as well?

Hi Atul,
Thanks for you help !
I believe that desired structure which I want to achieve should be possible since the example i.e. table with different images for different countries being displayed in iPad is provided in sap mobile guide for users.
Just need to find any workaround to achieve this

Shantanu
Hi Sheetal,
Images in webi report with external URL's are not supported on IPAD, Alternatively, you need to either embed the image in the cell or place it on bo server at location below and refer it as boimg://logo.png
C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI
4.0\images
Refer 4.3 Features of Embedded Images Supported by the App
http://help.sap.com/businessobject/product_guides/boexir4/en/44x_mobiOS_admin_en.pdf
Thanks

Hi mallikarjuna,
Thanks for your reply.
I had done the same thing.
had placed images on bo server at location
C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI
4.0\images
and refer it as boimg://logo.png.
Its working fine in Launchpad,
But in ipad only "boimg://logo.png." is displayed instead of image.

sheetal
Hi Sheetal,
You need to check "Read Cell Content As" in Format Cell>General Properties and Select "Image URL" from drop down.
Also, refer to section "4.2.2 Configuring Blank Cells in 4.0 Web Intelligence Reports" in below to configure you blank cells to associate with any blocks and then use the images to make them visible through IPad or mobile.

Thanks
