Hi Nasi,

As suggested by Adian please follow the note 990538

As temporary workaround for 32-bit systems, you can adjust the Windows memory parameters in C:\boot.ini (http://www.sysinternals.com/Information/bootini.html). By adding a "/3GB" option, Windows provides 3 GB user address space to 3 GB enabled processes (like jlaunch.exe):

[boot loader]

timeout=30

default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS

[operating systems]

multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Windows Server 2003, Enterprise" /noexecute=optout /fastdetect /3GB

However, this workaround reduces system resource. Some customers already run into TCP/IP stack problems resulting in WSAENOBUFS / 10055 / "No buffer space avail-able" errors and had to reduce the 3 GB address space with the /USERVA boot.ini switch in addition to /3GB (e.g. /USERVA=2900). Furthermore, you should not use /3GB on Windows Server 2000 systems due to known OS limitations. Instead, upgrade to XP or Windows 2003 first.

Hi,

Please review your settings according the note 990538. These options should allow the operating
system to allocate more memory for its internal structures and avoid
"10055 - no buffer space" errors.

The error '10055: WSAENOBUFS: No buffer space available' is as you

discovered when the system has not enough memory or other system

resources to open a new TCP/IP socket or to handle socket data.

Please see Microsoft Article 196271.

Regards,

Aidan
