Product Proposal - Copy Over Product from Service Contract to Service Order

Hi All,

I have added the service product SC_MACHINE_MAINT_1 to the product list of my service contract. When I create a service order I want that this

product is copied over to the service order after the contract has been determined and selected by the user.

Is there any functionality I can use for that? Please see attached picture.

Hi Oliver,

Hope you are doing well.

You need to use BAdI CRM_COPY_BADI to fulfill your requirement. Additionally please make sure to

maintain a copy control for service contract and service order. Thank you.

Hi Mayoo, actually we found out that we have to use the product proposal functionality for this. Copy Badi is not necessary as this can be done in SAP Standard.

Hi Oliver,

I am having the scenario where we are able to copy the products entered in the product list of service contract from  service contract to Quote.

If this is a standard functionality, now for me  there is a requirement that the actual product in the item level should be copied instead of the products from the product list.

Can you suggest how we can achieve this?

Is there any configuration that is set to copy the product list from contract to Quote,which we can bypass so that only the products can be copied into the Quote.?
