Not Able to View Certain Tabs in Configurable Areas in CRM Web UI

Dear All,

I need to realign certain tabs in my service request, for ex. I need to move the contract and warranty tab below my Reference Objects as shown below in the screen shots.

When I click on configurable areas the below screen appears and I position the cursor below the contract and warranty tab and double click on the same.

Next I get the below screen even after I scroll down I am not able to see the warranty and contract tab or the tab of service level agreements which I need to move below my reference objects tab which contains my install base, please advice how the same can viewed to move up.

Hi Atul,

You can achieve this requirement in Webui or Gui.

1. Click on show configurable areas in Web UI Service Request.
2. Click on the transaction's configurable area.
3. Select the relavant component with the help of Role config key and Object subtype combination.
4. Click on show available fields. System displays all the available fields at the left side of the screen.
4. Expand the field 'CONTRACTBTADMINH', select the field 'Contract'.
5. Now click on '+' symbol to move it to right side of the screen and then you can change the properties of the field as you want by clicking on show field properties.
6. Now expand the field 'BTSERVICEI', select the field 'Warranty' and move it to right side by clicking on '+' symbol and change properties as you want.
7. Click on 'Save and Close'.
8. Click on Hide configurable areas.
Now you can see the the fields as you desired

You can achieve the same in GUI with tcode BSP_WD_CMPWB.

I had just tried and baught the Warranty field under Reference object. Pls follow the above steps for Contract field also. You can see the result for Warranty field in the following screenshot.

Hi Maddy,

Thanks for the detailed reply appreciate the same I could now get the warranty and the contract on the configurable page as suggested by you I have also moved the warranty assignment tab a few block upwards by clicking on move up tab,how do I exactly move it below the assignment block Reference Object since the same is too my right

Hi Atul,

1. Select the field Warranty as shown in the below screenshot.

2. Click on '-' symbol which is top left side of the screen (Circled in below first screenshot).

3. Click on show available fields and expand the field 'BTSERVICEI', select the field 'Warranty' and click on '+' symbol which is top right side of the screen (Circled in below first screenshot).

4. Select the field Warranty which has been moved to right side of the screen, click on show show field

properties (circled in screenshot) and maintain the values as shown in second screenshot.

4. Click on Apply, click on Save and Close, and click on hide configurable areas now.

Hi Maddy,

Thanks for the detailed help appreciate the same before I close the thread have one last query, I have moved the warranty and contract tab as per your detailed explanations, however I am only able to see the warranty material id as shown below in the screen shot

I am not able to see its description the same is seen again below please do provide inputs which field I need to select for the same.

Also any updates on my earlier post in service and response profile please do give inputs further as well.

Hi,

You can not see the Contract and Warranty assignment block because its not assigned to overview page 'SRQM_INCIDENT_H/IncidentOV ' of component 'SRQM_INCIDENT_H' in 'BSP_WD_CMPWB' transaction, only then you can see it there and change its position.

Thanks for the reply appreciate the same, if you could let me know through screen shots how the assignment block needs to be assigned to the overview page would help a great deal.
