SAP Netweaver Developer Studio 7.3 + Xmind

Hello,

my question is: how can I install Xmind (an Mindmapping Software based on Eclipse) into SAP NWDS 7.3. I copied the plugin part of the portable version of Xmind into every plugin folder related to NWDS but after restarting there is no new perspective, project or anything to start with.

Hi Sven,

I have no information so far whether we can support it, so I only write here my own observations, which is short: I downloaded the portable xmind version from http://www.xmind.net/download/portable/ and managed to add it to eclipse Juno without issues, while the same steps did not work for NWDS 73.

I know this is not a big help, just wanted to confirm to you that apparently adding third party plugins is not that straightforward when it comes to nwds.

Would it be an option to you to use a separate eclipse for XMind  ?
