SBO Version: 8.82 PL12
Forum,
When I log into the integration framework, there is nothing showing other than the section headers i.e. SLD, Maintenance etc...
I have added http://<serverIP> to the trusted sites. I have disabled the firewall and there is no AV running.
I have tried following the instructions from the following thread to no avail:
http://scn.sap.com/thread/3267018
I have also tried following the troubleshooting guide from SAP Note: 1619422 to no avail. I have also tried reinstalling the B1 integration software and clearing out the content of the %temp% directory.
This was working originally and stopped when a user when into Scenerios > Control and unticked the B1Mobile option.
Any help or assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Sarah
Hi Sarah Jackson
First:
1. Open SAP Business One but not log in, go choose company window.
2. Detach database in SQL Management Studio.
3. Refresh company list in SAP.
4. Wait few seconds and attach database in SQL.
5. Refresh company list in SAP.
6. Wait some time and your database should appear in SLD.
1) Login to integeration framework where B1i server was installed : OK
2) I am able to see my company databases.
3) If I select a company database in the SLD and run the B1DI test conection. Then it is telling me : connection OK.
Also tested the JDBC connection and it was fine.

I have found the following snippet from the B1i Administration Guide which lists the following steps in order to re-assign port numbers from the standard 8443:
1.4 Changing Integration Framework Server Ports
The integration framework server uses port 8080 for http and 8443 for https. If other applications already use one of these ports, you can change the integration framework ports in the following way:
1. If SAP Business One Event Sender Service already runs, stop the service.
2. Change settings in the server.xml Tomcat file – at: …\Program Files (x86)\SAP\ Integration Framework for SMEs\B1iServer\Tomcat\conf.
You can find the settings in the connector port tabs.
Do not change any other settings in the file.
3. Log on to the integration framework and select Maintenance Cfg Runtime and change the port.
The integration framework additionally updated the setting in the SLSPP table of SAP Business One.
4. Restart the SAP Business One Integration Service.
5. Choose Start → All Programs → Integration Framework for SMEs → EventSender → Setup, follow the steps of the wizard, and in the Configure B1i Parameters section change the B1i Server Port entry, and test the connection.
6. Restart the SAP Business One EventSender Service.
7. Change the properties for the menu entry, using the correct port number: Start → All Programs →Integration Framework for SMEs → Integration Framework.
I can now telnet to the server I have double checked the ports are open which they are however, I cannot connect to the server outside of the LAN using the B1 app on the IPad. I continue to receive the following error: Connrection Failed - The request timed out (-1001)
I have looked through and applied the steps from the following SAP Note (1670645) and I have also gone through the following (http://scn.sap.com/community/business-one-integration-technology/blog/2012/09/26/ipad-and-iphone-con...) to no avail. The connection to the server is working when communicating to it via windows, it is just the app that won't connect!
Any advice would be greatly received!
Thanks,
Sarah

I had the same problem and the only thing I did was enable the compatibility mode in my browser and it worked perfectly then.
I know this post is old, I just came across it by accident and wanted to mention this.

Hi Sarah,
This is a tough job to make it running again. The real problem is: once the working B1i stopped working due to wrong config, you may have to reinstall everything to repair t.

I have since got this working. The issue was with the DHCP server and it being changed hence it was not picking up the MAC address of the IPad.
Whilst I am now able to access the integration framework from the IPad I have also been able to telnet to the relevant server using a free telnet app. I am unable to connect via the actual SAP B1 App. I receive the following message:
Connection Failed
The Network connection was lost (-1005)
SSL is turned 'Off' and they do not use a proxy server. I have found the following thread: http://scn.sap.com/thread/1919319
however in inserting the https:// I then receive the following error:
The request timed out (-1001)
Would anyone be able to assist?
Thanks
Sarah
Thank you very much. I will give this a try and report back.
Would you be able to confirm whether I can assign another port number other than 8443 to the B1 integration software?
I know you have the option to change this within the CfgRuntime within the integration framework and also the port settings within the windows firewall. Is there anywhere else?
The reason for asking is that I am trying to connect an IPad outside the LAN.
Thanks
Sarah
