MSMQ AND ABAP CONNECTION ERROR

Hi Expert,

I am trying to install BPC 7.5 NW SP11 on a multi server environment. After installing BPC and run BPC server manager I got an error message message queue and ABAP database connection error. I Appreciate if you can provide me steps by step procedure on how to configure MSMQ on a multi- server environment. Thank in Advance.

Hi Cloyd,

Could you please post error screen shots of server diagnostic here?

Also, please go through following SAP notes, they might help you.

1. 1385864  - BPC NW: Server Diagnostic Fails - SAP Server Connection - Database Connection-Status: Connection Error

2. 1508246  - SAP Server Connection - Database Connection: Cannot connect to ABAP server

3. 1781748  - Server Diagnostic errors after installing BPC NW 7.5 SP14 on the .NET server - BPC NW 7.5

4. 1713250  - BPC Server Diagnostic error with .\private$\BPCStatusMessageQueue

5. 1455946  - MSMQ - messages in the private queue

6. 1389510  - 'MS Message Queue' is shown in red (incorrect status) in Server Diagnostic - BPC 7.0 NW

Hi Ashwin,

Thanks for your quick response. This is the error message I got. I am not sure if the message queue (MSMQ) on a multi server environment uses Private. I don't know how to get this resolve. With the SAP Notes you provided I will try those and will give you an update. Thanks.

I followed the sap notes you have provided but non of them works Do you have a step by step or screenshot procedure how to configure Message queue on a BPC NW 7.5 SP11 multi server set up? I am stuck on this. Hope to hear from you soon. Thanks..

Hi,

FYI.

I was able to resolved the issue by doing the following steps:

1. make sure that  users (bpc_sysadmin, bpc_admin, bpc_user) are not lock.

2. bpc_sysadmin role should be Communication

3. re-install .net framework 2.0

4. Was able to resolved issue as was able to access bpc via web
