SAP MII for Oil & Gas

Hi,

We are a oil & gas company. We are looking at installing the SAP MII middleware for integration with shop floor systems such as LIMS, PI Historian etc. Can anybody share their knowledge in terms of the integration mechanisms, connectors etc.? Also, if you could share some of the recommended solutions, practices etc. for the oil & gas industry, that would be much appreciated.

What specifically are you trying to do with the MII Solution, it's more than just a middleware solution which is why I ask?

Hi Chanti,

There is an RDS package for upstream O&G available.  For the other items you requested, there is a wealth of information in SCN as well as in the SAP Services Marketplace.  Please browse through the available materials and if you have more specific questions come back and post.  I also recommend that you read the Rules of Engagement for SCN thoroughly.
