Hello All,

I am applying ADD-ONE packages for  FINBASIS and SEM-BW  with Tco SAINTon ERP EHP6  on HP-UX .

The Add-on installation terminated during phase XPRA_EXECUTION WITH ERROR:

The following details help you to analyze the problem:

    -   Error in phase: XPRA_EXECUTION

    -   Reason for error: TP_STEP_FAILURE

    -   Return code: 0008

    -   Error message: OCS Package SAPK-605IRINSEMBW, tp step "R",
        return code 0008

Her is log file from  SAINT: Action log of queue:

Hi Ejersbo,

Could you try repeating the phase as most of the XPRA errors are cleared with repeating the phase.

Thanks for reply,

I did tried  repeating the phase I olso restart server  and  repeating the phase too,

becuse some times it helps on this Phase. 

But not this time.

Any other advice?

Hi,

The error 'No suitable RFC ...' indicates (as long text of the message
says) that FINBASIS Transport Tool should call application import
logic from proper client. In order to do it it needs RFC destination
to access application client within system where the import is executed.

If you experience troubles with RFC destination then check in detail
notes 644610, 912369 and all notes referenced if needed. Those notes
contain detailed explanation what and why is needed for proper RFC
destinations settings of FINBASIS Transport Tool.

As per SAP note 912369
"in case that you receive error message FINB_TR 032 during XPRA
execution (during upgrade) and clients are not yet implemented
in your system then it is necessary to set the RFC destination
for client 000"

You will need to create a FINBTR@<SID>CLNT<client> for

every client that encountered the error "No suitable RFC destination

could be found".

We have using client 000 and 010 and not 001. I had cretae a FRC connection and adde in tco.

But stil the same error:

Hi,

Please make sure that for every source and
target client there is an
RFC destination in SM59 (and if necessary also in FINB:TR_DEST).

-Please also check that DDIC user and password are maintained correctly
for client where RFC is failing. If not then please correct it..

Once done please repeat the phase again.

A2EEFINB_TR 032 No suitable RFC destination could be found"001"

If the Financial Basis component is installed, an RFC destination is
required for the source client of the copy for a local client copy
If there is no such connection error message FINB_TR 032 will be issued.

Please refer note 568784 to create RFC connection.

Hi Aidan,

Thanks again for reply, We donot user client 001 at all, I donot know what is the password for this to sap* or ddic user.

So you mean the problem is that I need a RFC-destination FINBTR@RISCLNT001 with correcet user and password in TCO FINB_TR_DEST ?

Hi Ejersbo,

Yes. You need to create RFC destination with correct user and password for client 001.

This is a required step when we have FINBASIS component in SAP system. It does not matter whether you use client 001 or not.

Thanks for reply,

We donot use this client and nobody know any user in this client.  I can see by runinig report: RSUSR003.

I have DDIC and SAPCPIC on client 001. But they are lock to much wrong password.

Any way to unlock this user from another client?

Hi,

Please try with SAP*  user.

If you do not know the password then first delete it in client 001 and then try to login with password pass

Hi Ejersbo,

when upgrading several problems have to be solved:

1. The system is disabled for all users by the upgrade. Only DDIC and SAP* may login.

2. You cannot restart the system during upgrade. This is necessary to reset the password in client 001.

3. The users SAP*, DDIC are not allowed to create new programs in workbench SE80.

Solution:

1. Unlock the system by running a cmd command on the SAP server:

tp unlocksys <SID> pf=D:\usr\sap\trans\bin\TP_DOMAIN_<SID>.PFL

Please replace <SID> with your system ID and check the path to your tp profile.

2. Log on with a development user to you productive client and check that DDIC is unlocked and you know the password.

3. Write a new program ZCOPYUSER with SE80:

REPORT zcopyuser.

DATA gs_usr02  TYPE usr02.

START-OF-SELECTION.
  SELECT SINGLE * FROM usr02 INTO CORRESPONDING FIELDS OF gs_usr02
                  WHERE  bname = 'DDIC'.

  gs_usr02-mandt = '001'.
  MODIFY usr02 CLIENT SPECIFIED FROM gs_usr02.

4. Run the program ZCOPYUSER

5. Create a RFC connection to client 001 with user DDIC - Transaction SM59

6. Register the RFC connection with transaction FINB_TR_DEST.

7. Continue with the upgrade.
