Dear Experts,
How to forecast maintenance spares and labour requirements based on future maintenance schedules and future work orders?
Is there any short or long term forecast is possible in SAP EAM?
Kindly share procedure or any related document.
Regards,
Siva
We've just created a 5 year look-ahead report (based on IP19) which determines the labour and material cost requirements.
This concept could easily be adapted to include material numbers too.

1.if you want to forecast these figures ( manpower and material cost) through standard reports, you need to schedule the plans for a 'scheduling period' equal to the time of forecast (with no call horizon value) so that all the order are called immediately and avaialable for required reports like IW38, IW37n etc.
2.In the other case, development is possible with the maintenance plan, task list data to report your forecast figures. (Consult the technical team)

Labor Capacity Load as well as Material requirements list will be arrived from PM orders. So if no PM order has been generated, then you can't forecast those requirements.
