Hi, I have set up an error message for the business object BUS2000113 (through Message Control) for a particular field. While working with the contract I do have to fill that particular field, however, I don’t see the sign that this field is obligatory. Could you please tell me how can I configure that sigh (basically, if the field is obligatory to fill I see red star right next to it).

I think you should be able to achive this via Field control for required business object if you are on SRM 7.

You can go to spro settings->

IMG->SRM server->Cross application basic settings-> Extensions and Field Control (Personalization)-> Configure Field Control

and then change the visibility, enabled or/and required field metadata based on your requirement,

Also you can use dynamic methods to handle the field visibility, enabled and required properties

dynamically.
