sending data (payload) manually in SAP PI 7.31 (single stack)

Hi Experts,

In PI earlier versions we used to send data directly to IE in component monitoring.

DO we have any option in PI 7.31 to directly send data to adapter engine (as IE is not there in single stack)????

Flow is

R/3 (quality) --> PI --> customer

I dnt have any Idoc in quality, and I cant create one in R/3 (due to some restrictions), hence I thought to get data from XI payload (from development) and send it directly.
