Unable to find the Account Group field enabled in BP - Classification tab in SAP CRM

Hi ALl,

I tried the link

to enable the R/3 Account group in SAP CRM.

1.-Run transaction BUCG

2.-Add the role ZCRM01 ( Copy of CRM001 Sold To-Party)

3.-Double Click into ZCRM01 and select  CRM Clasificaction. Check R/3 Account Group as a required field. This is a mandatory requirement in this process

4.-Save  the settings

5.-Run BP Tx

6.-Click on Organization as BP Category

7.-Select ZCRM01 role in the BP Role field drop down list

8.-Maintain address data and click on Classification tab

But its not working ..

could not enable the Account group field in SAP CRM.

Pld find the screen sht attached..

ANy suggestion pls..

Hi,

Probably the field R/3 Account group status would be 'Hide' in the field grouping, Go to SPRO -> IMG -> CROSS APPLICATION COMPONENTS -> SAP BUSINESS PARTNER -> BUSINESS PARTNER -> BASIC SETTINGS -> FIELD GROUPINGS -> CONFIGURE FIELD ATTRIBUTES PER BP ROLE.

Under Field grouping BP role if u find ZCRM01 then select your entry click on field grouping, then double click on 'classification' button in the list you will find R/3 Account group.  If radio button assign to ‘Hide’, then select optional entry and save your change. 

Check through tcode BP weather this field is enabled or not.

In case if you did not find then click on new entry then press F4 select ur entry press enter.

Then select your entry click on 'field grouping' and continue the above step.

In case if you did not find here also, first contact with technical person if he does not then raise a SAP Message.

Hello Santhosh,

What is the purpose to enable this field in the transaction BP?

I ask this because last week when I was configuring the middleware, I wanted to do the same thing for the replication of customer data from CRM to ECC, But I discovered that the system automatically loads the information from the account group in this field as configured performed in the transaction PIDE ECC.

Hi Dayan,

the purpose is to Replicate multiple Account groups from CRM to ECC.

And for this PIDE Settings doesnt work !!

Can any one Pls let me know

1. do i have to manually enter the Account Groups while creating BP in CRM ?

2. If so in  Web UI, is there an option to select the Account group?

My purpose is to replicate Multiple Account groups from CRM to ECC.

Hi,

In which version of CRM are you? if you are in a upper release you should check it in web ui.
