Hi Guru's,
Actual requirement: We have a finished product for manufacturing. The total mfg capacity is 200 kgs out of which 100 kgs is to be allocated to the other products. However when we enter the total requirements is exceeds more than 100 kgs, which results in procurement of excess raw materials. How can we restrict the total requirements to 100 kgs.
Many thanks in advance.
Regards,
Mohan.
Hi Mohan
I would suggest you to use rough-cut capacity planning integrated on SOP, to check the capacity before creating the demand. The quantities planned on SOP can be transfered to demand planning after that.
