Dashboard Design integrate to WEBI

DA,

Could anyway help me please, I would like to create a Dashboard and a Webi Report, which is the Dashboard can send parameter to Webi Report.

For Example :

     Dashboard:

          I choose one option in combobox in my Dashboard, it will send the option that i choose in Dashboard

     Webi:

          Webi Report will open in new tab and  data will appear base on what i choose in Dashboard.

Both of them are in different page, not in the same BI Workspace.

Hi Setiawan,

that's possible.

1. You can create your comboboxes or whatever you need to select the parameters. In Excel you can concatenate all your selections to a string (&param1=test&param2=test&...)

2. Then you can create a complete link with your link to your web intelligence document and your parameters string. It is also an easy concatenate in excel.

3. In the next step you can create a button which links to the excel cell with the complete url inside.

=> that's it. Do you need a more detailed description?

It helps a lot. Now i'm trying to create the Webi Report first with filter which will be connected to parameter in opendocument. If there's any trouble i'll post again here. Really Thx a lot

Hi Benni,

Can you please help me understand how to enbed dashboard (SWF)  in 4.0 WEBI document. I have tried with Iframe but it doesn't seems to be working.

Hi Raja,

sorry for the delay. You cannot intregrate a Flash File into a webi Report. It is possible to integrate a SWF into a Crystal Reports but not in webi.

Of course you can create a link in webi to a Dashboard. Did you mean that way?
