Myinbox Fiori2.0 app to app

Hi All,

I am working on Myinbox (Fiori 2.0) to configure the app to app, where we want to display the Detail screen of the leave request app in the myinbox detail screen. For this I am following the App to App Navigation cookbook. I have done all the steps except the below step.

Handle Routes in the integrated application (Embed integration option)

Is this a mandatory step? If Mandatory then wouldn't it be custom tile on the Launchpad?
