Hi All,

This might be a question for beginner  but i am unable to find any documentation for this?

Can someone explain me what is the significance of the different drop downs(planned,defined,started, locked,developed,published,released etc..)

Which options i should select and why?

Use " planned" option while creating own software component.

If you see in SLD you will find many predefined software components(eg:SAP BASIS,SAP ABA.....)every SAP Product have been registered .

If you are using predfined content then it will have  software componets are type released.
