Performance of SAP packages in BPC 10 NW SP13

Hi,

We have applied SP13 to our BPC NW 10 Version. After that we notice that the standard SAP Data Manager Copy package is taking longer time. It is taking like an hour to copy just  few records.  But our custom packages are running fine.  Does anyone have the same issue?

We have the same problem, big problem ... we detect a very low performance after SP13, we are in BW 7.3. It seems that the problem is with authorizations, because in some cases a user with access to all companies executes a process ends faster than a process executes by a user with access to one company ... In other case we think is due to connection to BPC's infocubes, because with an optimized Model, the reading process takes more time than before application SP13 ...

Is possible to detect where a process takes a long time ? We analyze the trace but we can't take any determination ...

We have some customer messages opened with SAP ... Someone fix the problem ? Any idea ? Thanks.

Hi Venu,

Do you observe the similar kind of performance issue while running CLEAR or MOVE package? Please check if you have any logs in SM21 or SLG1.

Does the package ends with success or it fails?

Hi Venu,

Do you mean SP13 on the EPM addin? If that's the case, then even I am on SP13, and dont see this issue. Can you try to install SP12 of the EPM addin and check.
