Hi,
We have an issue where when the TR is created after material staging the quantity of the material is 0.
As per standard SAP, kindly let me know how the system calculates the materials availability when creating the TR. The quantity is defined during the Process Order creation.
The Destination Storage bin is Dynamic storage bin and therefore the question of "quantity reduction" (fixed bin) is not there.
Also I checked the stock in the system, and when I test with less stock the Order itself does not release and gives the error of parts missing.
Any suggestions of how the TR is created after WM Material Staging.
Hi Benu,
Material availability check takes place when you want to release the order. System will issue errors for missing parts and will reject release if a part is missing. TR creation is the next step.
The scenario you have mentioned i.e TR with 0 qty is very unusual.
Has anyone done any transfer for the material after it was released ?
Could you delete the TR and re do the scenario for a new production order to see if the error is consistent.
My assumption is that there was some inconsistency during the release process for your order.
Please let me know the outcome .
rgds,
Samir
