Member selector dialogue box does not open

Hi Experts

One of our users is experiencing a problem, where the member selector dialogue box does not open up when any dimension is clicked on the current view.

It is specific to one user only. Everything else  seems to work fine on the users pc, as we can type the dimension in the current view box and that works. Its just the member selector box wont open at all.

Any help or sugestions?

We currently running BPC 7.5, User has Excel 2007.

This is an older post, but we had the same issue for a single user.
The Windows setting for Display > Scale and Layout was set to 150% where it should be 100%

The error occurred when the user tried to select Context > Select Other Members and the mouse did not accurately select the option. Dimension dialog box would correctly appear if we selected the dimension in the EPM pane.

Hi AAdil,

strange issue, have you tried clearing the local cache or better deleting the PC_MS folder of the machine? I would try also to reinstal BPC.

The first thing i tried was clearing the local Cache, still had the problem. I then uninstalled and reinstalled and still have the problem for the specific user.

Aadil,

the issue could also are outdside BPC some wrond installation, if you have the possibility I would reinstall office or all the OS, etc from scratch.
