How to pass parameters between dashboards

Hello,

This is my first post and it might be very basic but there it goes anyways.

Is there any SAP document that explains how to pass parameters between dashboards using Flash variables?

My local support left a few dashboards working with this type of communication but I think after we applied a patch the functionallity was lost.

This is my environment:

BO Server OS Windows 2008 R2

BO Server version 14.0.4

Build Number 819

Database server: MS SQL Server 2008 R2

Dashboards version 6.0.4.0 Build 14.0.4.819
