Greetings!
I may need to suppress some lines in marketing documents, when they are printed. I believe I will have to perform some kind of conditional formatting (using if-then-else logic or formulas).
I will appreciate it if anyone has inputs on this.
Thanks.

Peter,
Have faced this problem many times.
The option that I use is a text box with border on one specific side and conditionally suppressing it.
Sad that a good tool like Crystal reports doesn't have line suppress option
Thanks

Hi Peter,
In Crystal reports You have to press the the right button of the mouse, select Section Expert, then the details, then click on the Supress (No Drill Down) button and type the condition.
The how to work pdf that Naga suggested will also help you.

Augusto

Hi Peter,
There is no direct way in CR to do suppress the line object conditionally.
But one workaround i suggest would be to place the line object as a separate section and do apply conditional formatting to the suppress entire section.
Hope this would help you!
