Distribution List in VV31

Hi,

Could someone explain how to set up a Distribution List for external email? Client does not use SAP internal email. The requirement is that the client maintains just one email address per customer in the customer master, but would like to send output via VV31 to multiple email addresses. How would I do this? Could I configure distribution list to do this and if so, how?

Also, what is medium "distribution ALE"? is that the DL medium?
