BW Extractor using ABAP development

Dear Experts,

We need to develop a custom ABAP extractor for BW. This will fetch and process data from multiple standard and custom tables.

I read some posts for creating the Function Module and using Cursors on database Selects.

However some more details with a helpful example will be great. Since we are working with multiple tables, I am not finding a good custom or standard extractor example for the same.

We do not want the following:

- Do all this logic in BW

- use tables or LDB extractors

- Store these aggregated data in a new custom ECC table and make BW extractor on that.
