Update date and time of creation on EBKN

Hello,

The fields created on and created by on table EBKN(PR account assignment) never get updated in our system.

It seems to be as standard SAP issue across ECC systems.

Is there a reason why these field are not updated OR are they updated under specific conditions only?

We are creating a simple PR assigned to a cost center and the expectation was that these fields would get populated.

Has anyone faces this situation before?

Hello Saurav,

Currently this field (EBKN-ERDAT) is only filled for requisitions which are created from material requirements planning (ESTKZ = B) or converted planned orders (ESTKZ = U).

For table EBKN it is not necessary to fill the data ERDAT. This
information is stored in the table EBAN.

Hello Maurio,

Thanks for the input, Currently I am not able to convert a Planned Order into an account assigned PR in my system, so I'll need to check this myself later.

However, I would like to ask if you have any idea why this should be so for MRP generated planned orders? I don't see the understanding/logic or need behind this.
