Dear All, while assigning the class characteristics to MIC the Upper and lower limit in control indicators are disabled.
how can i make them enable to set both upper limit and lower limit indicator for MIC with Class Characteristics Assignement.
I have read below document where it is mentioned that for assignment these should be checked.
please advise how can we do it.

Hi,
While creating the class characteristic you have to mention the range in the values tab.
Those values will be copied to MIC and upper and lower limits are automatically set from class
characteristics. The other option is to set the upper and lower limits in Inspection plan. After assigning
the mic in the inspection plan a lock symbol appears besides the characteristic in inspection plan. You
can open the lock symbol and then assign upper and lower limits. Though you open the link system
will update the results in the batch characteristics.

Yes, when class char are used in task list control indicators can not be changed.
Best option is to set the upper & lower limits( use range option in class char) in class char itself ,so that these will be populated in task list.
