Hi All,
I am trying to understand delivery plant determination for service material in service order. Delivery plant is maintained for Sales org. and sales area. which means service material can only have one delivery plant for sales org and sales area. we also have delivery plant maintained in Customer master.
When I am creating repair order type RAS from service notification. system is taking delivery plant from service master and it;s a gray field. that means i can't change delivery plant in repair order. i want to take different plants on different occasions.
Please advice.

the delivering plant will be copied form the service master Sales Org. Tab 1 & the same will be copied in Repair Order with service material but why don't you to keep the Service product which is applicable for delivery I mean the material & serviceable material have separate plants as per applicability of delivery

Hi,
In the service master under sales org view 1, you will enter the delivery plant
The sames plant will be determined to the RAS order
You cannot leave that field blank for creating repair order and cannot maintain more than one entry

I hope you created Service Material for specific plant. As per my understanding, delivery plant might have picked up according to that plant.
If you want to have different plant then use different service material according to your delivery plant requirement.
