MMPV - Check and Close Period - Very Slow

Hello All,

     I need some help regarding MMPV, we have a new 6.0 environment in the company and the team needed to make the procedure of closing period. The option was used to "check and close period", but when we use this option the process takes too long time and when we use the option "close period" only the process runs in seconds.

    After investigating the long run time, we find that the time is greater access to table MCHB, the more curious that this table is empty.

    I ask help to all if anyone has experienced this problem or is it normal when the table is empty.

Hi,

   This might be because of huge master data in the system. The issue can be solved by a command correction as explained in  Note 25024 - Runtime of period closing program. Please check the note and correct the program accordingly.

   Additionally, you may check the note 24948 also.

Tks for you reply AKPT but I forgot to mention that we use ECC 6.0...

This note can't be implemented in our version unfortunately.
