IPC mandatory for pricing in SAP CRM? Are there any other options?

we want to use CRM pricing in the following CRM scenarios:

• Opportunity Management
• Quotation and Order Management

Is it still mandatory to use SAP IPC for pricing in the listed CRM scenarios? Are there any other options?
