in which situation company will recruit persons through Sub contract position process

Dear all

Generally companies will hire employees In 3 ways

1) permanent position  2) contract position 3) sub contract position

my doubt is in which situation company will recruit persons through Sub contract position  process

Hi Venu,

Sub contract position: let me give you an example: Say Company X wants SAP SD consultant but they don't have clear visibility on how long the project or assignment will be with them or the company wants SD consultant for a short term(not sure on the number of days/months) In this case Company "X" will contact Company "Y"(which is the body shopping company) to find a SD consultant. Now, company "Y" will recruit or send Person'A' to company "X" for that assignment.

In the above case: Person "A" will get paid or will under Company "Y" payroll and company "Y will get paid from company "X".

This will be done due to avoid any overheads like Insurance/Incentives to the employees or notice periods

In case of contract hire: The employee will be under direct payrolls of employer but the limited liability with much of benefits like Insurance/Incentives..

Thank you so much for replaying me and i am asking final doubt plz clear me plz plz

Just one month back i have attended interview in chennai at M.N.C company 2 rounds are completed

1) PM ROUND 2) HOD ROUND

so finally H.R Told  they have selected you I will send the offer letter with in 10 days  , she told like this

But still i didnt get offer letter ,in the mean while one time i have called and asked

she told still processing is going on once i get feed back from my higher official defiantly i will update you .

So what my doubt is .... Still they are recruiting employees or May be project is delayed

bz one month is over means i will loose hope ?

Dear Venu,

This is very common in all the companies. If they are in the verge of getting any project, they will start conducting interviews and keep the offer letters on hold till the time they get the confirmed projects.

My sincere suggestion is, keep trying for other opportunities. If you get something better than what you have in your hands, take up the new one.
