Hiring Manager-search issue in erecruitment

Hi experts,

We are working on Erecruitment module ehp6

For employee manager relationship we are using B012(chief position) not B002

We are not able to use search option for the hiring manager field in the Create  Requisition screen

The search option does not retrieve any results even if managers are maintained as the chief of the org unit..

Hi Shravani,

we have noticed a similar behaviour.

After some analysis we saw that the system is using an attribute in the TREX IS_MANAGER to determine if a person is a manager.

This attibute is set by the system after a person has been assigned as a hiring manager for a requisition.

So in my opinion, the field hiring manager is not at all related to the org structur but is related to the fact that the person was entered as a manager for another requisition.

In order to test, can you please enter a manager directly by entering the personnel number, saving the requisition, allow the trex to index.  After this, create a new requisition and check if the person appears in the list of 'managers'.
