2LIS_13_VDITM as source (Data Services)

Dear all:

we are using extractors as source (Data Services).

We have some additional fields added to  2LIS_13_VDITM datasource

  • Fashion Brand (char 3)
  • Partner_YA (char 10)
  • Document Number (char 10)

Their value come from CMOD.

If I check the extraction using RSA3 in ECC I get data for all these additional fields.

Data Services gets data for only one field (Fashion Brand);  the other two are <null>.

Does anyone know the reason for this strange behaviour?

Thanks everybody.

Sabrina

Hi Sabrina,

Could you please check in RSA6 if you have unhide the 3 new fields or not, if not then unhide the fields. Also check if the customer exit check box is checked for new 3 fields at Data source level.

Regards,

Lukesh.

Did you mean, the data is not coming correctly in BI side? If yes, please replicate your datasource and activate it in BW. Then, run the infopackage to see the data in PSA.

Data are not transferred to a BW system. We upload data into SQL server via DataServices. In DataServices Designer you don't replicate datasource; you can only Reimport. I did so, but only one field is not null.

Could you activate it in RSA6 again and check in RSA3 ?After that, try again to reimport in SQL

Hi Sabrina,

May be a probem on your SQL code.

Could you share the code?

Hi Amine:

there is no sql code.

DataServices Desidner --> Datastore --> Import By Name --> 2LIS_13_VDITM.

Once imported in DataServices, View Data.

Some fields (BELNR and PARTNER_YA) are <Blank>, but they are not blank in SAP, as we can see in RSA3.

Hi Sabrina,

Just to locate your problem. If you have a BW connected to ECC can you try the following:

-Replicate your problematic datasource in BW

-Create and execute a full infopackage

-Check in PSA if your fields are populated.

Could you communicate your system details : ECC version and SP, SQL server version.

Let us know.

Sabrina,

Can you try to import another datasource and see if you still facing this issue (If powwible 100% standard datasource)?

Also, with your first datasource. Check if you have in ECC any dumps or warnings using the following transactions and process (SLG1 - SM12 - SM37 - SQL Trace - ST22)
