Services used for multi source universe

Hello,

BO 4.0 SP04 Patch5

I am creating a multi source universe in IDT based on two oracle connections. I would like to know which services under APS will be used for running a webi report.

Hi Laxmi,

Data Federator Service is the one which you are looking for. Have a look at this wiki document to know more.

Thanks, but my webi reports are failing with

ConnectionServer has reported an Exception: Conversion from UTF8 to charset failed : Encoding not loaded

I checked the Data Federation tool... and its hitting the server having data federation service. Is there any other service which is being used?

I have applied the changes to the environment variable and include the path for Winx64_86

Ya this is already done..any other inputs. I believe apart from Data federation service there is some other service which is used. Having limited access to Admin I am not able to play around.
