Automatic Regitsration of Devices to SCC

How can we register devices automatically to SCC. To be more specific, I don't want to register the devices from Sybase Control Center, instead want to make it from device with unique device name

Some details:

1. Went into the HWC Workflow Settings and entered the details like, Server, Farm ID, etc

2. Selected Automatic Registration Option

3. Entered Admin User/Pass supAdmin and s3pAdmin

4. It registers the devices on SCC, but every device name will be supAdmin in SCC then.

Question:

In order that we have the unique device name, what needs to be done.

Tried:

Tried by creating the LDAP profile Security configuration and then using the unique username/password, but it still didn't work.

Please suggest as to how this can be done.

Hi Jatin ,

I am not 100% sure about this but device registration in SCC will have username attached to it .

In your case , might be because you are logging into sup server with default credentials for sup it will always come up with supAdmin.

In production environment if your establishing SingleSignOn (SSO) between sup and sap ( backend ) the registration in SCC should come up with different users/usernames who are trying to login.
