See the guide Copying SAP Systems Based on SAP NetWeaver 7.0 Support Release 3 / 7.0 Including 1, 2, or 3 - Using Software Provisioning Manager 1.0. Should be straight forward.

Oh my, you should really learn how to find documents on SAP Service Marketplace.
Hi Kaski,
Thanks for your suggestion,I want to know which method is easier for restoration purpose in Sql Server 2008?Is it detach/attach method or is Backup/Restore Method?
If Detach/Attach Method can you please tell me the steps as it is not mentioned in the SMP Guide?

Hi All,
As I am using the Backup Copy of Production Server during System Copy,So I want to know
which are the main RFC Connections of Production Server which should be taken care of?
Is there any issue to Restore the Backup of Production Server for System Copy Purpose?
Kindly help me out as soon as possible as I have to start this Activity today itself.
Many Thanks

Hello Ajitabh,
Check note 151603 for further information.
Do not forget the post steps after the restore.
Also, consider to upgrade the database as version 10.50.1702 is old. SQL Server 2008 R2 SP2 is already released and kernel stack (note 19466😞
Download Microsoft® SQL Server® 2008 R2 Service Pack 2 from Official Microsoft Download Center
