SAP customer Master

Dear Gurus,

i came across a situation wherein  i could not see the Partner function Tab in display mode of CMR (XD03). But, I could find the Partner function tab in change mode (XD02) for the same customer with all the other parameters being same.

Can you explain why this is happening.

In both the transactions XD03 and XD02, for the same customer number, please check if you are giving the same Sales Area (sales org, dis channel, division), in the initial screen.

Also check in table KNVP, transaction code SE16N, for that customer what are the partner customers created.

Use t-code: OB20 or (SPRO=> Financial Accounting (New) Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable=> Customer Accounts => Master Data=>Define Screen Layout per Activity (Customer)=> Display Customer (Centrally) =>Sales Area=> Partner usage => click on Display Option and Save.

Now go to XD03 then you get Partner Function Tab in your customer display.

Hi Priya,

As you are able to see partner functions tab in change and create mode but not in display mode; you have to do customization change  in OB20 transaction for display customer centrally. Here you have to set the partners tab as display I think now it is in supress mode.

Hope this solves your issue.

Hi,

  Please check your Account Group in OBD2 where Partner Usage Tab in Sales Data area and Partner Usage Assignment field may be  Suppressed.

Or authorization issues may be there.

Hi,

It is because of your account group settings. When your customer master was created, partner functions must have been set as hide/optional which allowed saving of master without partner functions. Subsequently, partner functions have been set as required entries and this will show partner function tab in XD02.

Are you sure, there is no enhancement done to hide partner function tab in the customer master?
