Assets Management FI

Hi experts,

I am using extractot 0FI_GL_14 in my project for financial requirments. I find it fine because it responds to many of them.

Sooner, i will have some assets reports to produce. I want to know regarding your experiences and knowledge if this extractor can be fine to manage some assets requirments in BW?

Hi Amine,

Mean while check with functional team also. because 0FI_GL_14 is new GL Data source. for asset accounting there is separate applciation. Thru user get the exact requirements and check with FI Functioanl team, thru that you may get idea which one you want use.

I don't have all the requirment yet, I am only preparing the futur with the present

It seems that there are some fields in datasource 0FI_GL_14 that allow to have a link to FI-AA module.

Hi Amine,

Once you got the exact requirement, thru that you may find which one suits your needs. Actually Asset Accounting is one application in FI module. GL also part of FI, there might be chance of relation. am not much familiar with FI data sources(AA,AR and AP).

I had to use 0FI_AA_12 and OFI_AA_20 for AA depreciation requirement. No other datasources would do the job.
