Inspection type 09 (reinspection) and Handling Units

Hello,

we want to be able to use inspection type 09 (recurring inspection), but we also use HUs and decentralized WM. We were having problems getting the stock transferred properly from the UD until, having read note  789114 , we tried again with a material that did not include inspection type 09. According both to the note and to traces we've run, if an inspection type that is stock-relevant but not HU-relevant is active, the DE will not be able to post properly.

The problem we have is that inspection type 09 does not have either the checkbox for stock-relevant or that for HU-relevant, but if it's active, the DE doesn't post properly (for any inspection types). We can't find any information on how to inform SAP that inspections 09 will be HU relevant. Does any of you have information on how to make inspection type 09 be compatible with HUs and decentralized WM?

The 09 recurring inspection program is not designed for use with HU's.

There is a Badi available mentioned in the above link that you could possibly utilize.  I have not tried using it myself however so I can't offer much guidance with it.

I'll try it and report back what did we need to do.

ETA: in the end, we're going with a small Z, since defining what we need to do is actually pretty fast and it seemed to be easier.

Re-ETA, July 18. What we've done is create a "ZQA09", calling inspection type 08 instead of 09 (which cannot be used with HUs). Stock movements must be done using transaction VLMOVE, any others do not call Quality correctly.  Thanks all for your assistance.

I had same problem a long time back, also i think i had discussion with SAP.

As per my knowledge recurring inspection can not be implemented alnog with HU and decentralized warehouse.
