Fail to start HANA server on Linux on AWS

Hello experts,

I've taken up the training on HANA and I am following the tutorials and videos on SCN for the past couple of weeks.

My problem is that, now when I try to start the HANA instance on Linux (on AWS) it shows, starting -> pending but after a while it turns to stopping and stopped!

There is a possibility that I have not stopped the database from running (you know: HDB stop) the last time I was training. Any ideas on what to do please?

Thank you all

Check whether you are having volumes attached to your instance or not.  If there are not sufficient volumes, HANA doesn't start.

Thanks

Volumes are ok,

following almost 36 hrs of acting as described, it started without any interference!(?)

thank you for you reply though,
