iView executes automatically in detailed navigation

Hi,

We have iViews arranged in folders in detailed navigation on the left. When I first visit the second level navigation the folders in detailed navigation are collapsed and that is how I want. I expand the folder and execute an iView and then switch to different second level tab and do the same.

When I revisit the previously  visited second level tab to execute a different report this time, the folder which was opened earlier remains open and the earlier iView gets called automatically.

Could you please tell me how to collapse the folders automatically and release the pointer to the iView when navigating to a different second level navigation tab so that it will not get called when revisited the tab in the same session?

Hello Vijay,

this is called "Stateful Navigation". You can disable it under "Content Administration > Portal Display > Framework Page Configuration (Detailed Navigation)".

There you choose your Framework Page from the dropdownlist at the top of the site, then scroll down and somewhere in the middle of the site you'll find this:

Just disable the function here and you're good.
