Hi,
I have a workbook that when I refresh it starts another query. It says in the status bar "SAP BEx: Jumping to target of type Saved Views", However, the original workbook has no query inserted in. How do I remove this link?
Thanks,
Mohan
I don't think there is difference to get change/remove the query.
But, Please follow the steps,
1.Open the analyser
2.Click on Open workbook option under Bex analyzer tab.
3.Select needed workbook from roles or favaroutes
4.Select the design mode by clicking 'A' in the task bar,
5. Then double click on Grid then it takes you mapped query --> there you need to modify or select needed one--> save it now ---> it gives new results
I think it would be helps now?,
Thanks,
Ram

Hi,
You workbook might have more than one query inserted in the sheets ( i.e sheet1 ( Expense summary) ,sheet2 ( Expense details) shee3( Time summary ) etc.
In BW 3.5 , we use 'Insert query' option to add queries in sheets. After insert , if cursor in 3rd sheet and you have done saving of workbook.
when you refresh, first it will refresh sheet3 query instead of sheet1.
Make sure while saving workbook, cursor should be on first sheet.
check any query view inserted in other sheets , remove and re-save the work book.
Thanks
Madhu
Hi
Its jumping to totally different query ,
I think this work book has been saved as jump target view ,Please check the design.
Break the link to other Excel sheets as follows:
open workbook: xxxxxxxxxxx
select data tab/edit links icon...
and break all links...
and then retest the issue...
If the issue should still occur then please proceed as follows:
1. Press Alt + F11 to open VBA Editor
2. Ctrl + G to open the immediate window.
3. Enter the following in the immediate window:
Activeworkbook.Names("SAPBEXdnldView").delete
4. Now save the workbook.

Hi Mohan,
In addition to Ram, below screenshot shows the sample query in design mode; where it has only one data provider as it contains one query. If you will find more data providers, in case the workbook has more queries.
check http://scn.sap.com/thread/352801 for the same problem, this may give you ideas.
Thanks,
Umashankar

Hi Mohan,
Editing or removing query from workbook possible in Design mode only,
1. click BEx Analyzer > click on Design option > it shows Grid --> click on that --> it shows mapped query details --> there we can select needed query one.
+ Plse go through the below links,
